Event Throwback: Butler Koshland Fellowships, “Who’s Your Mentor?”

To identify and mentor the next generation of public service leaders. This is the mission of BKF, and our CEO Ashley Montgomery got the pleasure of producing their dinners in 2014, 2016, and 2018. These dinners connected mentors to fellows and included cocktails and staged speaker sessions.

BKF is a unique program designed to pass on public service leadership skills and legacy. They ask extraordinary leaders to mentor emerging leaders. Each mentor and fellow pair work closely together on a project for one year, during which time BKF funds the fellow’s salary. The fellow is also integrated into and supported by a community of Butler Koshland fellows and mentors—past, current, and future—doing important work for the common good. Fellowship opportunities based in the San Francisco Bay Area are published as they arise.
