Lombard Street Transformed Into Candy Land for 60th Anniversary
In August 2009, Lombard Street became a life-sized Candy Land board game to celebrate the game's 60th anniversary. Costumed characters and kids from UCSF Children's Hospital played the game on colorful mats, taking turns based on drawn colors. The event ended with everyone enjoying Candy Castle Cake.
Decades of Love: Reminiscing on the Eternity Ball
Recalling the Eternity Ball in San Francisco a decade ago, a lively event featured women wearing wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses again. This black-tie affair served as a heartwarming benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, including a touching vow renewal for a couple celebrating their 20th anniversary.
